Libevent-2.1.12

Download: libevent-2.1.12-stable.tar.gz

Configure the package:

./configure --prefix=/libs --includedir=/libs/inc

Build and install libevent

make
make install

Move the pkg-config file to the prober location:

mv -v /libs/lib/pkgconfig/libevent*.pc /plng/lib/pkgconfig/

Optional: Remove a commonly useless file:

rm /libs/bin/event_rpcgen.py
